JOINING INSTRUCTIONS FOR RECRUIT TRAINING IN TA
1.Documentation. The following important/mandatory documents along with two sets of photocopies of certificates duly attested by a Gazzetted Officer are required to be brought at the time of reporting for recruit training:-
(a) Original & photocopy of Birth Certificate issued by Registrar of Birth & Death.
(b) All education documents (Marks sheets of 10th & 12th class) including board cert and school leaving certificate in original with two sets of photocopies.
(c) Original & photocopy of Nativity/ Residence/ Domicile Certificate issued by Tehsildar/ SDM/DM/DC.
(d) Original & photocopy of Caste/Tribe/Community Certificate issued by Tehsildar/SDM/DM.
(e) Pre Verification from nearest Police Station. Format of the same is attached to this letter.
(e) Original & photocopy of PAN of self and Aadhar Card of self & all family members.
(f) Original & photocopy of Passbook & cheque leaf/slip of Joint Account with Next of Kin (First name should be Self).
(g) Joint photos with Next of Kin (Wife, if married or Mother/Father) - 04 copies.
(h) Passport Size Photos of Self-20, separate photos all family members-02 each & group photo of complete family duly attested by Sarpanch-02 Copies.
(i) Original & photocopy of Marriage certificate (Obtained from Marriage Registrar), if married OR Unmarried Certificate from Sarapanch /Nambardar.
(j) No Objection Certificate from civil employer (Head of Department), if employed.
(k) Original & photocopy of Sports, NCC and any other achievement certificate.
(l) If candidate have child/children, Birth Certificate of children issued by Registrar of Birth & Death is required.
(m) Character Certification (issued within six months) duly signed by Sarpanch/SHO /Principal of School only.
2. Conduct of Recruit Training. After successful verification of documents, your selection in the Territorial Army will be finalised. Thereafter, your training will start: -
(a) Recruit Training Camp. Immediately on reporting, you will undergo Recruit Training Camp ___________ for a period of one month.
(b) Advance Recruit Training. After Recruit Training Camp at _________ , you will be further sent to _________________ Regimental Centre at __________ for 07 months training.
3. Leave. No leave will be granted during recruit training at ____________
4. Dress, Uniform & Equipment. After verification of documentation, dress and other kit items related to training requirements will be provided to you. However, the following clothing items should be brought by you:-
(a) Two additional pairs of OG (Olive Green) coloured socks.
(b) Sports Shoes for Physical Training (PT) and games.
5. Personal Items. In addition to the above, the following items are advised to be brought at the time of reporting at _____________ for your personal use and smooth conduct of training:-
(a) Two Towels (large and hand towel).
(b) One steel Plate, Steel Glass and Spoon.
(c) Bathroom Slippers/Chappal,
(d) Under Wears-three/four.
(e) Bathing & Washing Soaps along with Soap Case.
(f) Tooth Paste & Brush.
(g) Shaving Kit Items (Shaving Cream, Razor etc).
(h) Hair Oil & Comb.
(j) Nail Cutter
(k) Black Boot Polish & Shoe Brush.
(l) Two single bed sheets with a pillow & pillow cover.
(m) Bucket & Mug.
(u) Suitcase with lock. Additional steel box would also be required at __________. (Note - These items can be purchased from __________)
(o) Writing material with small notebook.
6. Money. You are advised to carry minimum amount of Rs 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only) in cash or in your personal bank account to meet various personal needs during the training period.
